Studio 52 would like to take a moment of your time to introduce our company .   We are a Fine Art Reproduction Studio/Art Gallery located at 4407 w 52nd Ave. (at the corner of 52nd and Tennyson St. in North Denver.)  We are new guys on the block, but we have lots to show and tell.  For example, we can digitally capture and archive your artwork for a reasonable cost. We can also produce high quality, affordable Giclée prints (pronounced as “zhee-clay”).  We just want to let everyone know that digital printing and technology is no longer voodoo,  and that it's the perfect time for all traditional media artists to take advantage of today's technology to increase their profits through selling prints of their art.

Many artists have heard the term Giclée, indeed many artists are already making and selling Giclée prints, but there is still an air of mysticism about the idea.  The word Giclée is a marketing term that was coined by a man named Jack Duganne, a print maker at Nash Editions in California.  He wanted to create a word that people could use to describe fine art prints, but he wanted to stay away from the word digital because he thought the art community would dismiss the potential of the technology, in a time where everything was being called digital.  Ultimately, he combined the French words (jet d'encre,) and the word giclér, which means “to spray,” and the word Giclée was formed.  Even the word Giclée sounds intimidating for many people to pronounce.  This is why Studio 52 would like to take the mystery out of Fine Art Reproduction and pass it on.    

Here at Studio 52, the customer is number one.   We specialize in working with artists who need reproductions from their originals. We also do high resolution digital imaging from small to large art pieces, so that an artist can have a very high quality portfolio and high quality marketing materials, or should they wish, to make prints after the original has been sold.  Many artists have no idea what materials are available and techniques that are used in capturing the essence of their art.
